CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT Check-in: 14:00 – 19:00. Reception closes promptly at 19:00. Late check-in is only available by prior arrangement and may incur a late check-in fee. Early check-in is subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed. A guaranteed early check-in requires booking and payment for the previous night. Check-out: 10:00. Late check-out is subject to availability and may incur an additional charge. Guests must be at least 18 years old to check in. CANCELLATIONS & NO-SHOWS Cancellations are subject to the cancellation terms applicable to your reservation. Cancellations made within the applicable cancellation period may result in the deposit or full accommodation charge being forfeited. In the event of a no-show, the applicable cancellation/no-show charge will be charged and the remaining reservation may be cancelled. OCCUPANCY & VISITORS Only registered guests may occupy the booked accommodation. The maximum occupancy of each room/unit must not be exceeded. All visitors must be registered with Reception and remain accompanied by the registered guest. Visitors are not permitted after 22:00. The registered guest accepts responsibility for the behaviour and conduct of any visitors. QUIET HOURS & PARTIES Quiet hours are from 22:00 – 06:00. No parties, functions, loud music or disruptive behaviour are permitted. Guests are expected to respect other guests, staff and the surrounding environment. Management reserves the right to require guests who cause a disturbance or repeatedly breach the house rules to leave the property without refund. SMOKING Fever Tree Guesthouse is a 100% smoke-free property. Smoking, vaping, e-cigarettes and the use of marijuana/illegal drugs are prohibited inside rooms and buildings. A designated outdoor smoking area is available. Smoking inside a room will result in a cleaning/smoking fee and may result in termination of the stay without refund. COOKING & BRAAIS Cooking in guest rooms is prohibited, except in designated self-catering units. Cooking appliances, open flames, candles, incense and similar items are not permitted in standard accommodation. Braais may only be conducted in designated braai areas and with prior approval where applicable. Guests making use of communal facilities are responsible for leaving the area clean and orderly. Additional hosting/cleaning fees may apply where staff assistance is required. DAMAGE & CLEANING Guests are responsible for any damage, loss or excessive cleaning caused by themselves or their visitors. The cost of repairs, replacement or specialist cleaning may be charged to the guest. Rooms found excessively dirty, damaged or requiring additional cleaning may incur an additional cleaning fee. Smoking, cooking in prohibited areas or any other breach resulting in additional cleaning will be charged accordingly. HOUSEKEEPING Daily housekeeping is provided during the designated housekeeping hours. Please allow housekeeping access to your room.
