House rules

• There is no lifeguard on duty at the Swimming Pool. Guests use the pool on their own risk. Please adhere to pool rules next to the pool. • No open fires are allowed, please use designated areas only to prevent the fire from spreading. • No smoking in any of the buildings, use dedicated smoking areas. • Guests are responsible for keeping their own items secure. • No parties, loud music, hooting, loud music from vehicles and/or any disturbances will be tolerated in the rooms, parking areas, campsites and gardens. • Don’t remove the bulbs next to the pathway. You will be held responsible for all injuries caused by your actions. • Don’t allow any rubbish to build up in your unit. All rubbish must be placed in the rubbish bins provided. Place rubbish bins outside daily to be cleaned out. • Switch off lights and fans in your unit when not in use, also when you are going out for the day. • No other electric appliances such as kettles, hairdryers, or moveable air conditioning are allowed in the units. • Report any loss of keys immediately to the owner. • No cigarette buds, cotton buds, tampons, sanitary pads or any other material, other than toilet paper may be flushed down the toilet. We are running a septic tank system and your co-operation will be highly appreciated. • The communal kitchen includes refrigerators, microwave, kettle, limited dishes, glasses, and utensils for light meal preparations. Please clean up immediately after yourself. • Do not fiddle with the electricity distribution board; ask us if you are having problems. • Please Note that when and if there are burglaries at the Lodge we are not responsible for any loss, damage or injury. If you notice that something is missing or damaged from the rooms please let Management know and they will take the situation from there. • Do not steal anything; the price you paid is for accommodation, not for cutlery, crockery and bedding. • Please keep the kitchen, lapa, bathroom, and other shared areas clean and tidy. • No running is allowed on the wooden pathways and around the swimming pool. • Any day visitors must leave the property by 22:00 hours. OVERNIGHT VISITORS ARE NOT ALLOWED. • Do not use utilities such as gas, electricity and water to excessive use. Use water sparingly. • PLEASE DO NOT FEED OUR PETS. WE WILL FEED THEM OURSELVES! • Do not throw cigarette butts and trash on the ground, use ashtrays and bins. • Please do not remove and/or disturb any trees, wood, plants, birds, animals or any other property belonging to Thobeka Lodge. • Please do not feed or harass any wild animals and birds on the property.
