Meet U at the Beach

Meet U at the Beach is situated in Umzumbe, KwaZulu-Natal, close to Umzumbe Beach, a Blue Flag beach, offering guests a beautiful sea view from the private patio. Umzumbe is a peaceful, unspoiled beach town with dense coastal vegetation. The beach house provides the perfect self-catering experience, with a fully equipped kitchen, modern bathrooms, and comfortable bedrooms. Guests have exclusive access to the entire house, as if it were their own. This self-catering unit accommodates 8 guests: 6 adults and 2 children. It has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Bedrooms 1, 2, and 3 each feature a queen-size bed, while bedroom 4 has 2 single beds. The bathrooms are equipped with a shower, washbasin, and toilet. Only the main bathroom has a bath. The open-plan unit also includes a private patio, dining table, lounge, and kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, air fryer, gas stove, oven, kettle, toaster, and fridge. A washing machine and a tumble dryer are also available. Guests can unwind in the cosy lounge area or gather around the dining table for a meal. The house also has water backup. In-house amenities include a smart TV and Wi-Fi. Guests have access to secure parking and braai facilities. Nearby amenities and activities include horse riding, fishing, swimming, bird watching, and cycling.

ouse Rules for Meet U at the Beach. Please read and acknowledge the following rules before your stay: • Breakage deposit must be paid before arrival – entry may be refused otherwise. • Security cameras – active outside (main gate, garage, front and back gardens). • Garages are not included in the listing. • Check inventory upon arrival and report any issues immediately. • Damages/breakages – must be reported and paid for. By repor ng damages/breakages it will help us do the necessary repairs before the next guest. • Self-catering accommodation – maximum of 8 guests, 6 adults and 2 teenagers. (2 single beds are for children/teenagers only). • No extra overnight guests beyond booking amount. Undisclosed guests = R360,00 pp/pn charge or immediate cancellation of stay. • No third-party bookings – the booker must also be a guest. Please produce your ID when collecting the keys. All copies will be destroyed after check out. This is to ensure keys are handed over to the person that booked our home. • No loud noise, music, parties, or events – residential area quite time 10pm-7am • No smoking/vaping indoors – only outside/veranda, using ashtrays provided. • Housekeeping (optional) – This must be arranged in advance; paid in cash R200,00 daily to the housekeeper. Long stays 7 days or longer get a complimentary clean with x1 linen change should you require one. Extra linen changes will be charged at R150,00 per bed. • Towels –Bring your own swimming towels. • No ireworks (prohibited by local by-laws). • Departure – leave house tidy, wash dishes and place all garbage in the bin provided outside. This is required for pest control in our coastal climate. Excess mess = extra cleaning fee (in addition to the R495 cleaning fee which covers house cleaning and laundry). • Fish cleaning only at the outdoor basin, not in the kitchen sink.
