Warthog's Retreat

Warthog's Retreat is situated in the peaceful Marloth Park wildlife conservancy and offers comfortable self-catering accommodation for 6 guests. This modern bushveld retreat is ideal for families or small groups seeking a tranquil getaway close to the Kruger National Park. The house comprises 3 bedrooms and 3 en-suite bathrooms. Each bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed. The main bedroom features an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath, shower, basin, and toilet, as well as a private outdoor shower. The second and third bedrooms each have an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, basin, and toilet. The open-plan living area features a well-equipped kitchen fitted with a gas stove, oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, air fryer, toaster, kettle, and a six-seater dining table. Laundry facilities include a washing machine and tumble dryer. The lounge area features comfortable seating and a smart TV with DStv and streaming services. Guests can relax on the covered patio overlooking the private swimming pool, or enjoy meals at the outdoor dining area equipped with a braai. The property is fitted with solar panels, an inverter, and Wi-Fi to ensure a comfortable stay. Secure covered parking is provided on site. Warthog's Retreat is located approximately 20 km from Crocodile Bridge Gate, 5 km from Lionspruit Game Reserve, and 41 km from Malelane Gate, making it an excellent base from which to explore the Kruger National Park and the surrounding Lowveld region.

House rules

Please see below a few guidelines: Check-in is from 14h00. Check-out is 10h00. The key is at the property, address is 1861 Butterfly Street. When you get to the front door, there is a black box. The code is 1290. To close the box again, please re-enter the code. Please switch off the alarm with the button found on the key before entering. You can use the alarm when you go out somewhere. (When you leave, kindly ensure that the above steps are repeated) The wifi password is on the refrigerator. Please make sure to keep all windows and doors closed when not attended, the monkeys are very clever. Please also check that doors and windows are properly clipped in when you go somewhere. The monkeys will break open anything to get inside 🙈 Please keep noise levels down, Marloth Park has a NO NOISE policy. Please make sure that the dishwasher is loaded and on before leaving . All garbage must be placed outside in the garbage bin - it is located at the entrance of the property. Please make sure to close the cage. Please leave the house as you found it, and kindly inform us if there was any items damaged during your stay. We appreciate this, as we can quickly replace it then.
