After a long day on the road, come and stay at Die Windpomp Guesthouse. This guesthouse, situated in Beaufort West, offers 10 private en-suite rooms, each with its own entrance. Guests have access to braai facilities and secure parking. One secure parking per room and limited trailer parking are available on request. No pets are allowed.There is no air conditioning in the rooms, only ceiling fans and desk fans. WiFi is available.Beaufort West, with its view of the Nieuweveld Mountains, is more than just a stopover. Experience the Great Karoo with a visit to the Karoo National Park. The museum and house of the world-famous Professor Chris Barnard are part of the town's heritage. Take a sundowner tour on a donkey cart or go out with our local guides for a cycling tour. Hiking trails, horse riding, quad biking, hunting, game drives and golf are just some of the things to do in Beaufort West.

House rules: Pet policy: We have a strict pet policy that needs to be followed NO PETS allowed at French Karoo Guesthouse NO PETS allowed at the following rooms at Cape Karoo Guesthouse Garden Cottage, Lady & Sir Baker. At Extra cost. Parking: If you are traveling with a trailer, please park it in the allocated trailer parking bay. Bigger trailers, boats and caravans, needs to be parked at the French Karoo Guesthouse side. Smoking: NO smoking allowed in all rooms, will be fined a R2500.00 to bill. Keys: Keys are collected at reception upon check in between 14:00 and 21:00. You can leave your key in the post box at the gate when departing. Occupancy & Additional Guests: This quotation is based on the number of guests specified at the time of enquiry. Only the guest(s) stated and quoted for may occupy the accommodation overnight. Any additional guest or person staying overnight must be declared to and approved by management before arrival, and an additional charge will apply where applicable. Visitors are not permitted to stay overnight unless they have been registered and approved by management. The guesthouse reserves the right to charge for any undeclared additional guest. Gate: The gate is operated by the remote on your room key, do not hoot at the gate. Only one remote per room is available. Please share it as reception is only on duty until 21:00. Lost property: All personally items are your responsibility, please check the room over before leaving to make sure you have not left anything behind. We will contact you if we find anything, we don’t take any responsibility for lost items. Load shedding: In the event of power outage, we do have inverters installed. Cape Karoo will have full electricity supply. French Karoo will have electricity supply for the main lights and tv. Noise: Please keep noise levels to a minimum when outside at the braai and also voices and tv volumes in the rooms. All noise needs to be finished by 22:00 We look forward to welcoming you with us.
