The Big Tree Cottage

Big Tree Cottage is situated in the quint little village of Graafwater, 30 km from Lambertsbay , 30 km from Clanwilliam, and only 250 km from Cape Town, nestled between the mountains. Ideal for while visiting the area for the Namakwaland flowers or just doing site seeing around the West Coast. The cottage was built in 1891, together with the main house and the Old Wild Fig tree in front of the cottage. but with few renovations the charm of the old building remains. And the big Wild Fig tree, is the home of many birds, also shares it shade with the property. Consisting of two bedrooms, with double beds, a full kitchen with gas stove, microwave, refrigerator, kettle and all the amenities, full bathroom with all amenities, and living area, the cottage is suitable for families of four or travelers for business. But rooms can be booked separately. Braai facilities and an outdoor smoking area for every room is available. Free Wi-Fi is also included. Bedding and towels are also supplied.
